Todays Shopping Trip…
Well I braved to cold today, along with my mom, sister, and niece. We had Kohl’s Cash to spend. We met at Taiwan 101 at 11:30.. Actually it was 11:15, my sister was actually early, imagine that..Lunch was good as always.
Then we headed across the street to Kohls to return a bunch of stuff and spend our Kohls Cash. The return line wasn’t bad for just a few days after Christmas. All returns went smoothly. Then after what seemed like FOREVER, I finally found enough to buy to cover my $40 in Kohl’s Cash. They had 600 TC Egyptian Cotton Sateen Sheets, picture frames and a few other items 80% off. Christmas stuff was 70% off. I got 4 pair of Gold Toes socks, a set of King Sized Sheets, a sweater, a Bobby Flay Cookbook, and table cloth was just under $50. Of course it was free after my Kohl’s Cash and merchadise credit.
My niece came with me and my mom when we headed to the mall top make a return at The Children’s Place. The Sales lady was a bit shitty with me because I had bought the stuff online and not in store. She asked why I didn’t buy in store. I told her because the sizes I needed were not available in store. That shut her up. Other than that all went smoothly there and back out into the frigid cold we went.
Next stop was Giant Eagle. Nothing too exciting there, except for mom buying things without coupons that I had coupons for if she would have just asked. Then we went to Home Depot for yet another return. I had to buy a new dryer Saturday night and we bought the wrong plug. Another smooth transaction. Then we were homeward bound.
We probably should have hit Target and Walmart to see what kind of after Christmas sales we could have gotten, but Madison has a very low shopping tolerance. We were already pushing our luck with the number of stores we hit.
It was a good day. It is always awesome to spend time with my family. Even with my sister and her Pecking Duck..LMAO…
